TYLER DELEO MS, CPO, LPO

Tyler chose to become a Prosthetist/Orthotist when he saw the direct impact that an excellent prosthetist had on a good friend who had lost his leg to bone cancer. This friend is now living his life to the fullest and enjoys hiking, biking, playing sports, serving others and many other things he thought he would never be able to do again.

An Idaho native, Tyler went to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas to earn his degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics. After finishing his residency, Tyler stayed in the Houston Medical Center (the largest in the world) where spent several years specializing in Pediatric care. A young father of FOUR handsome boys, Tyler is incredibly gifted in working with children and loves helping them achieve their mobility goals.

IAN SMITH MS, CPO, LPO

Ian's journey into Orthotics and Prosthetics began as a child in Mesa, AZ. While working in his father's shop he developed a fear of injuring his hands while working. He was encouraged to research what he would do if an accident did occur. That comment from his father led him to overcome that fear and ignited a passion for Orthotics and Prosthetics. He has continued that path and he now specializes in pediatrics as well as upper limb and hand prosthetics. He truly loves helping people overcome their own challenges and reaching their personal potential.

Ian studied exercise science at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and completed his Master's of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Throughout his residency, he slowly worked his way back out west. After starting with Goal in Utah, he was able to bring his wife and two kids back to his home in Arizona to continue working with the incredible therapy teams and people there.

DAVID PATTERSON MS CO, LO

David has always had a strong passion for working with children. Previous to his career as an Orthotist, he worked as an athletic coach and directed youth programs with a Utah non-profit. While studying pre-medicine at the University of Utah, David volunteered at Shriners Hospital for Children. His first day there he was introduced to the world of pediatric orthotics and he left knowing exactly what he wanted to do for a living.

David went on to Baylor College of Medicine where he received his Masters of Orthotics and Prosthetics and specialized his residency towards pediatric care. After residency, David found a pediatric orthotics clinic in Houston, Texas where he worked alongside two dual certified Physical Therapists/Orthotists. There he went on to open a new practice for the clinic in Austin, Texas. With both his wife's family and his own in the West, however, they eventually made it back to the mountains. David is fluent in Spanish and loves helping amazing kids get on their feet and reach their goals.

DALLEN WHEELWRIGHT PT, DPT

Dallen is Goal Pediatric Orthotic's first full-time Physical Therapist! We first bumped into Dallen when we were doing an inservice at a pediatric therapy clinic in Mesa, AZ. Dallen had gone to school at Midwestern University in Phoenix and was in Mesa finishing his rotations. With his Roots in Utah, however, a few months later Dallen reached out inquiring if we knew of any "jobs" if he were to move back.

Indeed we did, and although he probably wasn't expecting it being with us, we asked Dallen to shadow for a few weeks. We wanted to see if he could apply his PT skills to helping children get the right therapy tools (braces and orthotics). A few weeks tunrned into full-time real quick and he has been an invaluable asset since. Dallen speaks fluent Spanish and has a gift working with kids. His background also helps all of us be more well-rounded and thorough clinicians.
