Big News: Introducing the Talee Helmet for Cranial Remolding in Utah

Hi everyone, this is Adam from Goad Pediatric Orthotics, and I’m excited to share some fantastic news! We are now offering cranial remolding orthoses for babies in Utah. And our solution, the Talee Helmet, is a game-changer in pediatric cranial care.

What Makes the Talee Helmet Unique?

The Talee Helmet is a 3D-printed, lightweight cranial remolding helmet designed with innovation and comfort in mind. Here’s why we’re so excited about it:

  • Cutting-Edge Design: With 3D-printed holes and perforated padding throughout, this helmet ensures maximum comfort and breathability for your little one.

  • Growth Adjustment Plates: As your baby grows, we replace these plates to accommodate their development without compromising the helmet’s functionality.

  • FDA-Approved Materials: Safety is our top priority. The Talee Helmet is made from radiation-free, LED-scanned materials that are completely safe and proven effective.

Proven Success with Adherence

Success in cranial remolding treatment depends on two critical factors: growth and adherence to the treatment plan. We’ve found that families find the Talee Helmet particularly easy to incorporate into their routines, leading to better outcomes for their little ones.

How It Works

When you refer a patient to us, here’s what happens:

  1. Evaluation: We meet with the family and perform a light scan of the baby’s head using an LED light scanner. It’s quick, completely safe, and radiation-free.

  2. Custom Helmet Design: Each helmet is tailored to the child’s needs, with options for custom colors, designs, names, or even fun symbols to make it uniquely theirs.

  3. Monitoring and Adjustment: We closely monitor the baby’s progress, replacing the growth adjustment plates as needed to ensure proper fit and function throughout the treatment process.

When to Refer Patients

The best time to refer your patients is:

  • At around 4 months old, or

  • After they’ve undergone 2 months of conservative treatment (e.g., therapy for torticollis).

Why Families and Clinicians Love the Talee Helmet

  • Lightweight Design: At 20% lighter than other helmets on the market, it’s more comfortable for babies to wear.

  • Enhanced Range of Motion: Its thinner design allows for better neck mobility, especially for babies with conditions like torticollis.

  • Improved Ventilation: The perforations ensure airflow, making it more comfortable for families to manage.

  • Streamlined Appearance: Families appreciate its sleek, less bulky design compared to traditional helmets.

Our Commitment to You

At Goal Pediatric Orthotics, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We evaluate every patient thoroughly, recommending a helmet only when it’s truly needed. Our goal is to make the treatment process as effective and seamless as possible for both families and providers.
